Type of Event: Wedding Reception
Location: Little Bear Village Golf Club, Columbus Ohio
After a simple ceremony at a nearby church, Kelly and Adam started their wedding reception with a bountiful cocktail hour that featured:
- Baby Red Skin Potatoes with Sour Cream and Caviar
- Free Range Bison Sliders with Caramelized Onion and Boursin
- Teriyaki Chicken Skewers with Grilled Fresh Pineapple
- Prosciutto and Fresh Mozzarella Skewers with Balsamic Reduction
- Seared Ahi Tuna Lollipops
- Sun Dried Tomato, Fresh Mozzarella and Basil Skewers
The cocktail hour was followed by a gorgeous catered buffet featuring an eclectic surf and turf menu:
- Cucumber Apple Salad with Fresh Dill
- Roasted Vegetable Orzo Pasta Salad
- Grilled Asparagus Spears
- Wild Boar Andouille Sausage and Bell Pepper Skewers
- Asian-Style Crab Cakes with Asian Slaw
- Roasted Tenderloin of Beef with Wild Mushroom Demi Glace and Fresh Rolls
Once everyone had burned off a few calories on the dance floor, the Bride and Groom kicked off dessert by making the ceremonial first cut into their gorgeous 3-tiered cake, which was then served in addition to:
- Fresh Baked Baklava
- Chocolate Covered Pecan Bars
- Peanut Butter & Jelly Bars
- After Dinner Coffee
Throughout the evening, family members and guests alike praised the Sandman Gourmet Catering team for the delicious dinner offerings, and the Asian Style Crab Cakes were the crowd favorite. The mother-of-the-bride, who sewed all of the gorgeous floral overlays found throughout the reception, commented on her ease of mind throughout the evening. Kelly herself said that she would recommend Sandman Gourmet Catering to anyone! Overall, it was a great evening full of memorable events and delicious food, and we are proud to have been a part of Kelly and Adam’s special day!
